Former Judge Kicks Against Cllr. Lewis’ Nomination

He has written the National Legislature objecting to the nomination of Cllr. Lewis to serve as Chief Justice of Liberia for what he termed “Impunity and Corruption.”

“I have the singular honor most respectfully to draw your Excellency’s attention to adverse issues relative to the nomination of Johnnie N. Lewis as Chief Justice of Liberia.

“I do realize that it is not normal to object to presidential nomination, but the case in point may be an exceptional one,” he noted in the letter of petition to the legislature, dated February 17, 2006.
