Pres. Sirleaf Makes Changes in Government

President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has made several changes in government in the aftermath of the July 26 mansion fire incident.

President Sirleaf appointed Mr. Willis Knuckles, Acting Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.

Mr. Knuckles who earlier served as Public Works Minister replaces Mr. Morris Dukuly who resigned in the wake of the fire incident.

President Sirleaf appointed Mr. Lusinee Dunzo, Acting Public Works Minister.

Following July 26 Fire: Minister of State, Deputy SSS Director Replaced?

Reports emanating out of the Presidency say several changes have taken place since the July 26 fire incident at the Executive Mansion. According to information gathered, key officials in the Ministry of State and the Special Security Service have been replaced.
